Nox the Reader

Hi everyone! Welcome to Nox Reads, I'm "Nox", and today's post is an  original  book tag inspired by  Kingdom Cold  by Brittni Chenelle! I've been lucky enough to be a part of the Kingdom Cold Blog Tour ( #kingdomcoldtour  on Twitter)! There are going to be numerous creative feature posts that I can't wait to see. Shealea from Shut Up Shealea  posted the launch post , which has links to each blogger participating. For my creative feature, I've created an original book tag, and at the end of the post I will be linking a playlist inspired by  Kingdom Cold ! I kept all of the references in this to the first chapter or the synopsis in order to avoid spoilers, so don't worry if you haven't read this yet, everything is reserved to chapter one. Let's begin! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. "Dying wasn't my intention." - Ominous/Memorable F...

Hey everyone! Welcome to Nox Reads, I'm "Nox", and I am so excited to share with you an  original  book tag inspired by  Dreamer  by Ja-Mel Vinson! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been fortunate enough to participate in the Dreamer Blog Tour ( #dreamerbooktour  on Twitter), and I will be linking a playlist inspired by the book, and later today I will also be posting my review! I know that not everyone has been able to read the book yet, so have no fears, there are no spoilers in this tag! I tried to keep all of the questions inspired by things mentioned in the first four chapters. These are merely inspired by characters, objects, or awesome quotes- so let's begin! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Maya (the True Dreamer) - If you were a protagonist, wha...

Hey everyone, welcome to Nox Reads, I'm "Nox", and  Rachel Marie Book Junkie over on YouTube  tagged me to do her  original  book tag- the Pre-Netflix Grishaverse Tag! Fair warning:  Some of these prompt titles contain spoilers for the Grishaverse (namely the  Shadow and Bone  trilogy). Let's begin! 1. Nina Better Be Plus-Sized- A book with fantastic fat rep. I'm going to be honest- I haven't read a book with any fat rep besides the  Six of Crows  duology. Therefore, my choice is going to be a book that's very high on my TBR that I've heard not only has amazing fat rep, but also Afro-Latinx rep, and as an overweight girl who is mixed race (which includes my Latina  and  my African-American sides), I really love that. Also, there's magic and (technically) zombies. What's not to love? 2. MALINA are NOT my OTP- A book where you couldn't get behind the romance. *cough*  Shadow and Bone  *cough* Okay, I kn...

Hi everyone! Welcome to Nox Reads, I'm "Nox", and this is the Mid Year Freak Out Tag! Technically , we're past the mid-year point, but I still feel like doing this tag so I can reflect on what I've read so far! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. The Best Book You've Read So Far in 2018 Illuminae  was an amazing book that I almost didn't read. When I went to the bookstore I was given a one book limit, and I was torn between  Illuminae  and  Shadow and Bone . I flipped a coin and chose to buy  Shadow and Bone  and start reading  Illuminae  while I was there, but I got so immersed in the story that I changed my mind! I'm glad I did because after binging the series, it quickly became one of my favorites! I've lent my copy to my friend and I hope he loves it just as much as I do. ---------------------------------------------------------------------...
