Mini "Series"

Hi everyone! This is just a quick list of the kinds of posts that I do, and explanations for them!

1. Book Rambles
Book Rambles are my book reviews! I have a page that explains how I rate books since I don't use a standard five-star rating system. Rambles are usually split into a spoiler-free talk and a spoiler talk.

2. School of Thought
This is an original series of mine! I'm an English Education major, which means that I'm required to read a lot of "classics" for class. School of Thought is where I discuss books that I've read in a (slightly) formal setting in an (incredibly) informal manner.

3. Sort of Sorted
This is another original series of mine! Sort of Sorted started as a way of sorting characters into their Hogwarts houses but after all of Rowling's transphobic comments, I instead sorted characters into which Avatar the Last Airbender nation they would be in. It's a fun way of exploring the characters in different books!

As I come up with more of these, I'll update this page! I'm also hoping to do author spotlights and more!

Hi everyone. Welcome to Nox the Reader, and today I'm sharing a compiled list of different anti-racist resources that I've seen shared on Bookstagram and Twitter. Please note: THIS LIST IS EVER-EVOLVING AND EXPANDING. AS I GATHER MORE INFORMATION, I WILL BE ADDING IT TO THIS GUIDE. IF THERE'S ANYTHING YOU FEEL I SHOULD ADD, PLEASE DM ME ON TWITTER @nox_reads, OR COMMENT DOWN BELOW. Before I share this list, all I want to say is that I'm mad as hell and I'm tired. My dad always shared stories about living in Inglewood in the 90s during the time of Rodney King and the LA Riots. And it's almost 30 years later and nothing has changed. I've grown up surrounded by names as hashtags and videos cycled through the media and it's infuriating  and heartbreaking and exhausting . And a lot of us are wondering what to do, how to break this system and burn it to the ground. And it starts with educating ourselves and uplifting the voices of others. In this list are book
